This was my second set design project that has actually been built. This one was challenging because of the limitations of a tiny stage with no wings, so I involved the back stage and removed all the curtains to create an environment rather than a more traditional 'stage' with the wardrobe doors acting as a proscenium/wings. There were minimal set changes and all of them had to be done by the cast as the director didn't want any set crew to be seen, the main component were three arches on the back of the stage and three trees both changed with the seasons.
